An elderly man was recently beaten to death during a brawl with a fellow taxi driver
According to The Star, the incident took place at a petrol station in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, 11 February.</p> <p>Investigations revealed that the victim is a 61-year-old taxi driver who got involved in a dispute with another taxi driver aged 65.<br></br></p>
The two men reportedly fought because one of them jumped the queue while the other was waiting in line to fill up on liquefied natural gas
Sin Chew Daily reported that after exchanging a few words, they started getting aggressive. The suspect was punched in the face and then he pushed the victim to the ground. The man then died on the spot.
Pictures of the incident have been circulating social media. In the photos, a man is seen in a white shirt drenched in blood while the victim’s body is on the ground, covered with a white cloth.

Police arrested the suspect at the scene and the case is now being investigated as a murder
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon told The Star in another report that the body has been sent to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Medical Centre for an autopsy.
He also said that the police are still trying to determine the motive for the case and that they will be remanding the suspect to help with the investigation.
