Police recently nabbed a teacher in Melaka who allegedly molested and raped his Form Five student on several different occasions
New Straits Times reported that on Monday, 20 January, a team comprising rank-and-file personnel from the Alor Gajah district police headquarters hunted down the suspect and arrested him at Batu Berendam.</p>

According to CNA, he told the victim that he was taking her somewhere to meet other volleyball players on 27 March 2019.
<p>Alor Gajah district police chief Superintendent Arshad Abu said that he instead took the 17-year-old to a chalet in Pengkalan Balak in Masjid Tanah, where the girl was molested.<br></br></p>
The following day, the suspect drove the victim to Port Dickson, where he is believed to have raped the student at a hotel
Arshad also mentioned that on 29 March 2019, the suspect sent the victim to the Paroi Volleyball Hall in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan to take part in a competition.
“After the competition, the suspect is believed to have picked up the teen before returning to the hotel, where he raped her again,” he added.
The man had also taken a pornographic video of the underaged teen.
He told her he would make the video public if she exposed him.
The victim, who now works as a sales personnel at a supermarket, continued to be harassed and threatened by the suspect.
She finally lodged a police report at the Masjid Tanah police station on 15 January 2020 as she was unable to take the persistent harassment and threats.
The Star reported that he is currently being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
