It was a dream come true for this punter in Sarawak after spending years buying the same lottery numbers he saw in his dream.
The 67-year-old man won RM26.4 million from the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on 26 February.
According to New Straits Times, the lucky punter works as a hawker in the Land of the Hornbills.
When he collected his winning prize at Sports Toto’s head office in Kuala Lumpur, he revealed that his winning numbers were 9958 and 5198.
The overnight millionaire related that he came across the numbers in a strange old dream that he had a few years ago
"Although I can no longer recall the dream, I still buy the same set of numbers every time I bet," said the man.
“Working as a food hawker is a tough job and I had always wished to retire early since all my children are already working.
“It is indeed a great retirement gift for me to win the jackpot.”
When the man realised he had struck the million ringgit jackpot last Wednesday night, he immediately shared the good news with his family
"We were very excited and decided to fly to Kuala Lumpur the next day after the draw so that we can collect the winnings as soon as possible," The Borneo Post quoted him as saying.
He said that he normally spends RM10 to RM20 on every visit to the lottery outlets and he will never forget to spend another RM2 on the Toto 4D Jackpot game.
It was his earmarked RM2 buys on the jackpot game that ultimately won him a whopping RM26,409,196.15.
When asked how will he spends the money, the 67 years old said he will share some of his winnings with his children and save the rest for his retirement.

Hundreds of netizens flooded the comment section to congratulate the winner too.
