WhatsApp’s most requested feature is finally here and it is perfection.
Presenting… the dark mode.
It’s sleek. It’s bold. It’s everything your 3am eyes have been pleading for.
After getting so many requests, WhatsApp finally released its latest feature so you can reduce eye strain while replying to those late-night texts.
“When choosing colours, we wanted to minimise eye fatigue and use colours that are closer to the system defaults on iPhone and Android respectively,” it wrote.
To enable the dark mode, all you need to do is to install the latest WhatsApp update on your phone
<b></b>For those using Android 10 and iOS 13, the dark mode will be automatically enabled once you've switched to dark mode in your phone's system settings.
Users on Android 9 and below can go into WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Theme > select ‘Dark’.
Eyes must save. Soul must soothe.
